Thanks. She points to them every day, and I'm trying to teach her the animals as she points. I'm only dissapointed that I missed my giraffe print to put in this collection. It got stuck on the bottom of the container that I brought outside, and I didn't put it up in the yard with the others for the shoot
That's really awesome! He is so talented, and I really enjoy how happy all of his paintings make me. When I watched him I could believe I hadn't been before because I had admired his work for so long. The top photo is so wonderful, mostly because Lillian is smiling. It's great that she finds joy in the paintings because I think that is what they were meant to portray. Wonderful work, and good luck in the contest, Della.
I've had to rewrite this comment a few times because it keeps getting far too cheesy and schmaltzy...
All I want to say is that this made me very very very happy
Either you're a very good photographer or that's exactly where those paintings belong because they never looked that happy to me
Now I'm gonna go too far again on the corniness and ask you to submit this as a print because I could really do with seeing this from time to time
I'd send you another original if I had one but I've barely been painting recently. There'll be others eventually.
Thanks very much.
You're too sweet! Do you want a print of the whole image or just the bottom portion where they are arranged in the yard?
I'm really glad that I did your artwork justice in the way that I "marketed" it. At first I was worried about taking photographs of other people's artwork, but the end results have just made me so happy, I'm glad that they've had the same effect on you!
...This is isn't exactly a reply to anything we've said and I'm sorry it's just out of the blue but I just felt this is the right place for it. This photo just makes me so ridiculously happy. I mean, I'm 3 or 4 weeks away from leaving my job to focus on painting. If I could ever hope to just make people like your little girl enjoy what I do enough to want to poke one of my animals in the face ...that would be as happy as I'd ever need to be. I love these photos. They may prove to be a lot more important to me in the coming months and years than you realised when you took them. Thank you
I'm so glad. I'm so happy that I can give back the joy that we recieve from having your prints and originals. I will have to do another series..... especially since I have another baby on the way. I've been trying to decide how to decorate the new baby's nursery. I'm thinking of moving all the Ilona prints into the new baby's room so that Lillian has more room for Duffzilla prints! Maybe I'll even get some bigger ones!
There's another mini-Della coming! brilliant. congratulations! I only realised last week that there are much more ratios available then I currently have in my shop so I'm going to go through my prints and improve the size choice.
