Trust Gained

This is one of my wild kittens that I feed. On the day that she let me get close enough to take this portrait of her, was the day she let me touch her while she was eating.

We have such a cute friendship. There are three stray kittens who live at my house. They follow me around like little puppies, they even 'talk' to me, but they do not let me pet them, and they run away if I am too loud.

When they are really hungry is when they let their guard down and let me get close to them. Even with that big contraption that I hold up to my face.

I don't know if this kitten is a boy or a girl. Right now I call it Freckles (what Sawyer calls Kate on LOST). I hope it's a girl kitten, especially because "she" knows her name already and looks at me when I call her
