The first two weeks of March I am going to be in the VA/WV/PA area

I am offering $50.00 mini-sittings. This includes 30-60 minutes of photos of as many people as you want. As many outfits as you want. Any props you want. Anything goes! You'll get a CD of your images (untouched). Your photos will be online for 3 months to be able to purchase any of the photos. At the a-la-cart prices these will be manipulated, texturized, colorized anything you want!

I'm doing this as a sort of Winter blowout sale. I think people need better portraits in their lives. If you watch the news or look at missing people posters, people always have these horrible disposable camera photos of themselves and their loved ones, and I want to end that. So if you plan on running away from your family, get a decent photo taken first

Have you guys seen the new DA backpack/camera bag? I'm so excited! I've been needing a new one for a while, and was sad when DA released the artists bag and not a camera bag. Now I am going to have gear of my own! I will be toting it around to weddings, senior shoots, theme parks... everywhere! I love being a walking billboard for a place I love so much. I want everybody to know how proud I am of being a member of this awesome art community. Thanks for making me feel this way, I love you all (all as in, the people I know and talk to on here, not the annoying little teenage lemmings you know what I mean)

Also, I'm leaving for VA for the weekend. I'm going to be in Natural Bridge. Then I'm going to an all night MST3K marathon party. In the morning we are going to IHOP. Then we are going to rest and get up and watch Titanic Rifftrax and play some Rockband! Sunday is going to be calmer, but with a huge lunch. Monday I drive home. It is going to be awesome, and I wish I had more time to explore Natural Bridge. Next time, next time.

So I have been a part of DeviantART for 6 years now. My little girls are getting big quickly. ~LillianAva is 3 1/2 years old now and ~LittleEmmaElise is 15 months old. Emma is saying; Thank you, bye bye, mama, dada, all done, here you go, duck, ball, boo, puppy, up, down... and some others. She loves to roar and grown and say "dada" in a dark scary voice. If you tell her "Emma be scary" she'll start growling at you. So cute.

The girls go to pre-school 3 days a week. It has been a big adjustment, but I think they are doing better. Lillian has been dealing with a bully who has dumped sand in her hair, scratched her, punched her, and done other mean things to her. The only description she gives me is that the girl is "brown". So I have the teacher keeping an eye on her. At least the teacher tells me that Lillian is quiet and generally keeps to herself.

I am loving all the deviantART upgrades, clothing line, stickers.... everything. This place is amazing, and anybody that whines about it can go shove it. This place is so huge that if you don't like a part of it, it is SO easy to just avoid that area or group! I love love love it. I've seen this place grow so much in 6 years, I never believed it could get this awesome. And it just keeps getting even more awesome. The problem is, now that I'm working 3 1/2 days a week, I don't have as much time to sort and organize and do news articles and all the things I love doing here. I miss it so much. I miss being able to keep up with all the deviations, I watch about 600 people or more. Right now I have 6,444 deviations to look at!

So in March I am thinking of having a party for some close friends of mine up in WV. A Renn Faire! We are probably going to stage it between 1400 and 1600. If you have any ideas, trips, games, items I should buy from you. I'd like to be able to hand out prizes for games. Handmade things. Like maybe little hand sewn dolls, little bracelets, princess hats etc etc. If you are one of my artisan craft friends, note me with a price for a LOAD of little things. (little meaning cheap haha)

I figure I might find somebody who is having an anniversary or something to celebrate, but if not I'm going to do it just for the heck of it. My dad is a contractor, so I'm sure it will be easy to make a stage and seats and tents and tables. I want to have a clothing swap where you get a ticket for every item you donate and then can use each ticket to buy a new item. I was thinking of getting little silver coins to use instead of tickets. I'm just so excited about all of this, I can't contain it.
