| I'm a mother of two little girls, who has an eye for beautiful things and loves to capture the moment with her camera. - 2009: Interviewed for article and cover of West Volusia magazine
- 2002: 2nd place in the McDonalds and WJLA Black History Makers of America contest. Watercolor.
- 2004: I won many ribbons for my photography at the Barbour Co Fair. I have also had the privileged of displaying my oil paintings in County Fairs, and in a historic Bed and Breakfast.
- 2008: SPfreaks.com & SmashingPumpkins.com poster design fan art contest winner
- 2000: 3rd place in pencil. I also won the HOBY writing award, and was considered for the Young Writers of America contest.
- 2005: Honorable Mention in the Everyday Photographer online photo contest
